The New Us.

Hello!!!!

We from IMU Editorial Board would like to update you guys on the new changes that we made. ** =D **

Before this year, we were made up of only one department and all of us had jumbled up duties. In the last issue, we had a real short of manpower. Hence, everyone from the board - mainly Yong Ming (The awesome designer and newly elected editor), Rafidah (The ex-VP and the newly elected President), Siew See (The ex-PR and the newly elected co-editor), Ivy (The wonderful secretary), Sobana (The beloved treasurer) and the ex-photographer and IT rep - struggled with the production of the first edition whilst having to study for Summatives and EOS. We didn't do it alone, we had the help of some friends - Malini, Renushah, Vik, to name a few.

Now, we have a whole new bunch of committed members who are willing to venture through the process with us! We welcome the new members with our open hearts!!! ** =D **

Last year, we gave out the titles of articles and deadlines to people to submit their articles to our Editorial Board Gmail. Hence, we had to download everything from the internet and look at it on the laptop. Hence, all of us had to bring laptops everyday during the editing phase. Plus, we can't even pass the laptop around like paper so everyone was walking here and there proof-reading each others article in process. ** Such hassle... **

Now, we have a new process of submitting articles and we are so much stricter than before. As of improve ourselves, we now require article writers to print out their articles and pass us the hard copy. Isn't that so much easier??? ** =D ** Do check out the earlier post to know the process better.

Last year, we only had one department where both administrative and editorial department were jumbled up together.

Now, we have separated into ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT and EDITORIAL DEPARTMENT. However, we still help each other out. ** =D **

Those are the current changes that we have made to the Editorial Board.

Despite the influx of members, we would like a further influx of members. We are still looking for layout designers ** Very important ** and more members to help us make the newsletter a whole lot better.
