What is Editorial Board?
'The editorial board is a group of people, usually at a publication, who dictate the tone and direction the publication's editorial policy will take.' - Wikipedia
As in all other schools or academic institutions, IMU's Editorial Board is prestigious and is in the era of change. We are currently transitioning from being just an Editorial Board that talks about leisure and so on, to becoming a full scale newsletter covering student events, IMU events and to let everyone know what is happening in the outside world.
Starting at a small scale, we are going to broaden the area of coverage and to become the official portal for IMU students to voice out their opinion and for others to know more about IMU.
What were We Before This?
We were also the IMU Editorial Board however, our newsletter came in different names. The first newsletter was Prescription done by our founders. Then came The Stethoscope, which was done by our pioneers. Yes, without them, we wouldn't have known that IMU Editorial Board existed and without our pioneers, we wouldn't have even dreamt of being a part of this. Now, we are known as Synapse because we no longer want to be Medical base but IMU base.

What are We Going To Do?
We are going to update students on the happenings in IMU. We will try our best to bring you the most updated news and update you on most of the events, no matter if it is an IMU event for an event created by students.
Now, we are have 2 sections. The administrative section and the editorial section.

What Do We Want From Our Future Members?
We want...
- Commitment to the Editorial Board.
- Passion in doing anything like photography, writing, proof-reading and designing.
- The understanding that being in the Editorial Board will take up a lot of time and commitment.
What Can We Offer You?
We can offer...
- Photographers an output for their creative pictures.
- Writers an output for their enormous amount of feelings and opinions.
- Journalists in the making a chance to cover events like IMU Cup and so on.
- Designers a chance to make their designs into reality.
- Certificates for the committee.
- Portfolios with all your articles and so on when you leave IMU to all the members.
